Abstract

Egypt's leadership recognizes that investing in its people is the nation's true wealth, a principle clearly articulated in the Sustainable Development Strategy: Egypt's Vision 2030. Education and scientific research are paramount within this vision, with the university professor identified as a key driver of progress.
This pivotal role necessitates an ethical charter to guide professors in their teaching, community leadership, and contributions to sustainable development. The goal of this research was to develop a practical ethical framework for university professors, aligning their professional responsibilities with national goals. Using a descriptive research method, the study outlines a foundational ethical charter for university professors within the context of Egypt's Vision 2030. This charter is structured around five crucial areas: professional conduct, interactions with colleagues, student relationships, scientific research, and engagement with the local community. This framework aims to empower professors to fulfill their vital role in shaping Egypt's sustainable future.
